No Escape

This band was one of the best bunch of guys ever to record in Sanctum.

The guitar player was Dan Heck. I met him years later at Finally Michaels in Plainview, and he told me was was into Jazz Guitar. I also remember that his drummer was pretty amazing, and was able to overdub one of his feet in a double bass drum part. The first and only time I have ever seen a drummer do this. I also remember the singer nailing a SLOB In the "A" Room, on the fold out bed. Anybody remember that gold couch?

I also found out years later that Dan Heck's dad was friends with Kirk Schuessler, who had a copy of the Sanctum tape with him at work when I met him at Sam Ash nearly 10 years later.
